Choosing a High Efficiency Water Heater
Did
you know that your water heater is one of the biggest energy sucking appliances
in your whole house? Think about how
much money you can save if you can harness the power of the sun to heat your
water instead of having to pay for it. First, start by determining what type of
water heating system will work best for you, your daily hot water needs, your
climate, and your budget. There are actually many styles available so do a
little research and find the best type for your needs.
Of
course, the position will depend to a large degree on the style of system
you've chosen. If you will be mounting
roof solar panels, take into consideration how much room you have on your roof
and how many panels you'll be able to mount.
Using the sun and wind to help provide the renewable energy you need for
your home is a growing trend. If you really want to save money you can take the
concept one step further and easily build your own DIY solar water heater
system.

I've just finished building my solar water heater and it is working great evening in the dead of winter. It's still not perfect and I don't think 3 BY 2 metres is quite big enough for my needs so I may build another 'backup' solar water heater to help especially on the really dark days. I'm just posting here so people know they really don't have to go out and pay loads for a shop built one - you can do it yourself amazingly cheaply!

"Amazing blog about solar water heater system! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that. I'm completely overwhelmed. Any recommendations? Appreciate it."
